Asking your question:

Please be as specific as possible when asking your question.  Also indicate where you have already looked, what type of information you need (books, articles, statistics, etc.) and any special requirements (only from the last five years, scholarly not popular, etc.)

The library staff will be happy to answer the following types of questions:

1) Questions that require short, specific answers (e.g. What is the population of Ecuador?)

2) Questions on where to look for certain types of information (e.g. Where can I find journal articles on problem based learning?)

3) Questions on problems that you have encountered while searching for information (e.g. I can't seem to find any books on Native Americans. What terms should I use?)

4) Questions on how to access library databases (e.g. What are the authorization number and password for FirstSearch?)

We will not be able to use e-mail to help with these types of questions:

1) Questions that involve long, complicated answers (e.g. What is existentialism?)

2) Questions that require preparation of bibliographies on a subject area (e.g. Can you give me a list of all your books on marketing?)

3) Questions of a mechanical or technical nature involving your hardware or software (e.g. I can't print a Web page that I'm looking at. What should I do?)
