Distance Learning Book Request Form

As a service to distance learners, the library will mail circulating books owned by Roosevelt University, as well as books loaned from other institutions, to any address in the United States. 

If you are a student who is enrolled solely in distance learning classes, please use the distance learning book request form to order books, and DO NOT request books using the Roosevelt book catalog, I-Share, or WorldCat. 

Due to the expense of mailing books, the library can only mail books to students enrolled solely in distance learning classes.  Requests to mail books to on-campus students will be not be filled.

Please note the following when requesting books:

1. If you are unwilling to wait the amount of time it will take to process your book request and mail your books, please note your other options for obtaining books first: Obtaining Books for Distance Learners

2. Please request one book per form.

3. Please request only 3 books per week; additional book requests will be deferred to the following week.

4. Please complete each form; incomplete forms will delay processing of your request.

5. Books will be mailed via UPS; delivery time varies by destination and will take 5 to 10 business days.

6. If Roosevelt University does not own the particular book you are requesting, we will request it from another institution, a process which can take an additional 10 business days.

7. All items not owned by Roosevelt University will be requested from the OCLC library lending consortium; OCLC policies regarding renewals and fines can be found here.
